BOSTON -- Layne Parmanter, Urie Elementary principal, attended a national principals board meeting last week at Harvard.
He was recently named to the board of The Principal Center, which is part of Harvard's Graduate Student in Education. Parmenter will serve a four-year term, which expires in 2019.

LYMAN -- Six Bridger Valley residents were honored at the Bridger Valley Chamber of Commerce awards luncheon Wednesday afternoon in Lyman.
The awards ceremony, held at the Heritage Barn, is an annual event in which Valley residents are recognized for their contributions to the area.
