Packages for troops

FORT BRIDGER -- Volunteers gathered at the American Legion Hall on Tuesday to prepare the Christmas packages to be sent to active duty troop members from Bridger Valley and their families.
The American Legion family is the impetus behind the packages and had spent time gathering items for the boxes. They are assisted by the donations they receive from Valley

MOUNTAIN VIEW --the Mountain View High School Student Council honored local veterans with a meal and quiet company Tuesday, Nov. 11.
"We just want you, the veterans, to know how much we appreciate everything you have done for us," MVHS student body president Aubrey Newton told the veterans before their luncheon. There were 10 veterans from across Bridger

Aimone crowned “Princess”

Jaiden Aimone was crowned Universal Wyoming State Princess recently.
She was crowned out of 10 delegates who were selected out of 50 girls statewide
in the Wyoming Our Little Miss scholarship program competition 0-2 age division.
The contest was held Oct. 24-26, in Casper.
She will represent Wyoming in the World finals in Dallas, Texas, in January.

Hickey named to Wyoming Cowboy Hall of Fame

DOUGLAS -- Jack Hickey, Lonetree, was tapped as one of the first inductees for the Wyoming Cowboy Hall of Fame.
Billed as honoring of "the real cowboys of the "cowboy state," the Wyoming Cowboy Hall of Fame was organized to honor "Wyoming's working cowboy and ranching history."
The 33 cowboys were honored last Sunday
