By DARCI REVELLI
My son, Carson, who was just 20 years old and full of life died unexpectedly on Nov. 20.
He was attending Weber State College. Carson was the most energetic, fun-loving, kind-hearted person I’ve ever known.
To honor his name, I have set up a foundation called “Carson Cares.” My hope is to keep his spirit alive and give back to the community and surrounding areas.
I will be collecting gently used coats, hats, gloves and boots during October. Thanksgiving dinners delivered to the needy in November, Sub For Santa and gifts for the elderly and veterans in December. My goal is to collect enough funds for a generous scholarship to be given away each spring to local seniors. Watch Facebook for more information.
I greatly appreciate all your help and welcome your feedback. I have contacted local churches as well as DFS and SAFV. If you know of anyone who could benefit from this service, please contact them, or I can be reached at 307-780-6467.
Drop boxes can be found at Hana’s Salon and Boutique, Allstate Insurance Company and the foyer between Keepsake Images and Silverstitch.
Thank you for helping me keep my son’s spirit alive.
