The 16th annual Christmas Festival in Bridger Valley will kick off this evening in Lyman with the craft fair and the Parade of Lights later in the evening.

This year’s theme is “Jingle Bell Christmas.”

The craft fair hours today will be from 4-9 p.m. It will run again tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Line up for the Parade of Lights will be at the rodeo grounds on the south end of Lyman at 6:30 p.m. The parade will begin at 7 p.m. Floats, decorated for the season and aglow with Christmas lights, will bring the enjoyment of Christmas to the forefront for all of those who take in the parade.

There will be booths at the high school today and tomorrow with a myriad of items to enable you to select special gifts for Christmas.

For more information on the Christmas Festival, call the Lyman Town Hall at 787-6595.

The Nativity scene at Urie, the Christmas tree at St. Helens Catholic Church in Fort Brider and the Christmas tree on the hill south of Mountain View have been put up and lit for this year’s Christmas season.

Christmas festivities in the Valley will continue with the Christmas concert on Dec. 14, at 7 p.m. It will be held in the LHS PAC and will be under the direction of Ellen Walker.
