LHS Ag Mechanics team earns honors

For the Pioneer



LYMAN – Four members of the Lyman FFA Ag. Mechanics team earned first place honors in the Cowboy Classic Agriculture Mechanics contest at the University of Wyoming Nov. 20.

The team consisted of Tyson Gillies, Marty Rollins, Kyle Stokes and Dalton Schofield.

Gillies brought home personal gold as the high overall individual mechanic in the contest. Rollins was third overall and first in the machinery portion of the contest. Stokes was sixth overall and ninth in the environment and natural resources portion of the contest. Schofield was eighth overall and second in the small gas engine portion of the contest.

Eighteen teams and over 90 FFA members competed from throughout the state.
