MOUNTAIN VIEW – Busy Bee in Mountain View reported it had 2.5 inches of water on their floor from the rains on Wednesday, Sept. 11.

Owners said they wouldn’t lose any merchandise from the water in the building.

Rick Guild, Mountain View maintenance, said the high school and middle school in Mountain View had flooding but there was no more standing water Thursday morning. A few basements and garages have been reported flooded on Facebook as well.

According to scanner traffic Wednesday about 6 p.m., Mountain View was under a flood watch until 9:30 p.m. There were efforts to round up volunteers to help fill sand bags. Some of the sand bags were still visible Thursday morning.
