FORT BRIDGER - I enjoyed my time with the Pioneer handling the day-to-day office work, and I am excited to be back with the new title “reporter.”
I have already met some wonderful community members that have gone out of their way to help me as I learn my way around reporting.
I spent some of my childhood in the Bridger Valley and graduated from Mountain View. Although I have been living in Fort Bridger since I graduated. Raising young kids has kept me at home so this job has thrown me back into the community, and I am enjoying meeting new faces and catching up with my former coaches.
While I am not attending community events, I spend time with my husband and our two children. We spend our summers camping and our winters ice-fishing.
I look forward to getting to know more active community members and learning my job fully so that I can be your eyes and ears for what’s going on in the Bridger Valley.
“Samantha has a good eye for photos, and her stories are interesting,” said Virginia Giorgis, Pioneer editor. “I look forward to working with her and know she will be a valuable asset for the Pioneer.”
