LYMAN – The Lyman Lady Eagles added yet another win to their unscathed conference record last weekend as they soared over the Pinedale Wranglers on the Wranglers home floor.
The Eagles proved they are worthy of the hype, and top conference ranking, they have been receiving as they steamrolled over Pinedale, 61-31.
“It was the best game Tiffani Dennis played all year,” said head coach Kevin Lueck of the Lady Eagle senior leader. Dennis led the team in scoring in the game, with 18 points. She was followed by Taylor Limoges, who had 10, and Lindy Bluemel with nine.
“Because of our depth,” Lueck added, “By the third and fourth quarter, we are wearing teams out.” The Lady Eagles are currently in possession of a 5-0 conference record, sitting them at the top of the conference.
Dennis said of her team’s anticipation for the upcoming Mountain View match up, “We have been working hard as a team, and we are ready for the excitement and pressure that comes with this rivalry game. This is always a competitive match up, but I’m confident we will perform at our best.”
“It’s been 13 years since Lyman’s girls have beaten Mountain View’s girls. I love Coach Rees,” said Lueck of the Mountain View head coach, “but our girls want to be the group to break that streak.”
