MOUNTAIN VIEW – The Mountain View Lady Buffs were handed a rough loss but looks to improve from playing Star Valley last Friday on their home court.
The final score, 19-59, left the Lady Buffs far behind.
Senior Mckell Hadlock tied for the Buffs’ lead score with nine points.
“We have to give Star Valley a lot of credit,” Hadlock said. “They are a very good team, but we also played a decent game. We were able to handle Star Valley’s pressure and look forward to our upcoming games with the improvement we made in that game.”
Aubrey Newton tied with Hadlock for the leading score for the Buffs.
“Star Valley is a really good team,” Newton said. “We’re never satisfied with a loss, but we learned a lot and are ready for two good games this weekend.”
“Star Valley is a great team,” added teammate Madison Vitt. “We played really hard but had a hard time scoring against them.”
