MOUNTAIN VIEW – The Lyman Lady Eagles were able to add another two wins last weekend including one which added to their currently undefeated conference record.

The Lady Eagles kicked off an early-in-the-week win against Kemmerer, 45-28, which fueled them into the weekend, where they closed out a 62-58 win over Lander.

In the game against Kemmerer, Tiffani Dennis led the team with a score of 14 points. Bailey Gross was trailing close behind with 11 points of her own. Lindy Bluemel added seven more points to the efforts of the Lady Eagles.

Dennis had a break away game in the matchup against Lander, where she tacked up 23 points in order to aide her team and propel them towards the win. Makailey Smith, another team senior, added 12 more points to the Eagles’ efforts. Rachelle Harris gave the Eagles an additional boost with 11 points.

“We really struggled with sickness this week and that made it hard for us to play at the top of our game,” said Lady Eagle guard, Bailey Hallam. “We were able to get both wins, which we needed to keep rolling, but we didn’t play at the level where we are able. In bigger games, we’ll have to make sure we play at the level we can if we want to win.”
