Mighty Buff football players tapped for nationals

Posted: Thursday, Jul 11th, 2013

MOUNTAIN VIEW – Seven Mountain View Buffalo football players were invited and participated in 2013 National Collegiate Combine Series in Salt Lake City, Utah, on June 8.

Brennan Walk, Cade Covington, Trystin Walker, Caleb Flake and Jake Snow attended the event. Levi Harmon and Austin Houskeeper were also invited to attend the SLC Combine but were unable to attend.

The event, presented by Prep Football America, was held at Judge Memorial Catholic High School. Participants were evaluated by college scouts from Prep Football America.

Walk, Covington, Flake and Snow were identified in the top 25-30 and were selected to participate in the All-American Combine held July 20, in San Juan Capistrano, Calif.

“This is a tremendous honor, and I am very proud of these kids. Unfortunately, none of the kids will be attending the California combine, but this is still very cool to have been selected,” Mountain View head football coach Brent Walk said.
