MOUNTAIN VIEW — The Lyman Eagles finished their season falling to the Star Valley Braves in their third game of the 3A West Regional tournament March 6-8 in Mountain View.

The loss put the Eagles just one game short of a seed for state competition in Casper this weekend.

“Although we are disappointed at not qualifying for state, as a coaching staff, we feel like we've laid the groundwork for what's expected from our kids in the future,” head coach Kevin Lueck said. “There will be a concerted effort in the offseason to skill development. A consistent workout in which kids are sweating and getting up and down the court with a ball in their hand will be the emphasis.”
