CHEYENNE – Contracts totaling nearly $14 million for nine highway projects around the state were awarded by the Wyoming Transportation Commission.
The contracts were awarded during a teleconference meeting Thursday. They include Cheyenne’s Reiman Corp. low bid of $642,000 to replace the Uinta County Road 221 bridge over the Blacks Fork River by Oct. 31, 2013. The contract is for the replacement of the old Lincoln Highway Bridge on the county road north of Fort Bridger.
Another Reiman contract is for slide repairs along Washakie County Road 47 under a $301,000 contract that carries an Aug. 31 completion date.
