EVANSTON – During the first meeting of 2013 on Jan. 3, the Uinta County Commissioners reorganized the board when they elected Craig Welling as the new chairman.
He will replace Bob Stoddard who served as chair in 2012. Welling was to be sworn in on Jan. 7.
In addition, the commission took care of housekeeping duties to keep the commission and county up and running.
The commission unanimously approved Resolution 13-01 authorizing FY 2013 Budget Amendment No. 1. It increases the following funds: LEPC $1800.07; CSBG $94,153; Homeland Security $42,311.64; Bridger Valley Airport $52,346; shooting range $25,000; rangeland management $20,000 and increases the landfill fund by $140,000 from an insurance reimbursement and transfers $42,752.48 from the Bridger Valley Landfill to the Evanston Landfill
Jim Hissong, Kent Williams and Toni Larson, with alternates Clayton Myers and Josh Davis, were appointed to serve as the 2013 grievance board.
Allen Hansen, Chad Spackman, Adrian Hunolt and Richard Zobell were appointed to four-year terms on the Weed and Pest Board.
Both Lynette Arnell and Don Ezola were appointed to the Fair Board for five-year terms.
