The Uinta County Conservation District will host a workshop on sprouting, or the germinating of seeds, Jan. 22, at 6 p.m. in the conservation office now in the old library in Lyman.
The workshop is a beginning class on sprouting. Sprouting has been used for over 5,000 years, and the use has resurged in the last 60 years.
