LYMAN ¬– On Jan. 12, the Lyman boys swam their way into first place finishes in two different events in the Kemmerer High School Invitational meet.
The meet featured swimmers from Lander, Sublette, Lyman, Kemmerer and Rawlins. The Eagles scored 205 points in the meet, landing in third place.
In the 200 meter medley relay, Bransen Bradshaw, Christopher Sorenson, Coltan Fotheringham and Charles Lallatin raced their way into a first place finish with a time of 2:04.88.
Fotheringham also claimed second when he finished the 200 meter individual medley in a time of 2:33.44. He also finished the 400 meter freestyle in a time of 5:02.23, earning another second place title.
Bradshaw clenched another first placement for the Eagles when he finished the 50 meter freestyle in a time of 26.65. Sorenson took fourth in a time of 1:19.43 in the 100 meter butterfly event, and second in the 100 meter backstroke in a time of 1:16.48. Lallatin grabbed second place as well in the 100 meter freestyle in a time of 1:06.08
