We need to get involved

Posted: Monday, Mar 4th, 2013

Dear Editor:

This is in response to your Guest Column by Parker Jackson and Rep. Allan Jaggi dated Feb.22.

Thank you for being so bold as to name names and expose to the public what is happening in Cheyenne and around the state. Wyoming is one of many states that are being targeted by powerful influences to change our way of life. There is corruption at all levels of our government and in every clime of our nation, and it’s time for the average citizen to do more than the average things or we are destined to lose our precious freedoms. We must read a lot of books, attend a lot of meetings, write a lot of letters, and act in a lot of ways to support those who are “in the know” about what is going on around us. We can no longer just have a positive attitude about things. It is time to stand and fight for what is right. If 90 percent of the nation would “get involved” the right would prevail. We can no longer stand at the sidelines and watch the world go by and wonder why we are not getting different results. Now is the time to act. Begin now to make a difference in the next election cycle. Begin now vetting next year’s candidates and registering next year’s voters. It will make a difference. We must act according to fact and not just some emotional feeling we may be having. Adolf Hitler was popular, but he wasn’t right. God bless Bridger Valley and the great State of Wyoming. You are one of many bastions of freedom left in this country.
