EVANSTON – Uinta County Public Health announced the annual Bridger Valley blood draws to be held April 11-13, from 6-10 a.m. to better serve residents.
To participate, you are asked to fast for 12 hours but should drink plenty of water. Diabetics should eat and take medications as usual.
The draws will be held at the Clifford-Olguin Dental office at 37 Meadow Street, across from the Urie Mall. C-O Dental has offered their facilities as a service to the people in Bridger Valley. Also partnering in this event is Bridger Valley Electric, Evanston Regional Hospital and Wyoming Health Fairs.
Information is available for any business who would like to provide screening as a benefit to their employees. Public Health is also seeking volunteers to assist with reception, data entry, biometrics screeners and phlebotomists (must be previously trained to draw blood). Call Uinta County Public Health in Lyman at 787-3800 or in Evanston at 789-9203 for more information or to see how you can help.
