BRIDGER VALLEY – The lack of long distance in Bridger Valley on Monday played havoc with businesses Valley-wide.
Home owners also had their own problems, but businesses had to try to keep business up and running without the backup of today’s technology – debit cards, credit cards, the luxury of paying at the pump, banking procedures and so much more.
According to information provided at the Mountain View Town Council meeting, Tuesday night, a Century Link fiber optic cable had been cut in Rock Springs. All calls are routed through Cenury Link so that caused the problem in Bridger Valley.
Calls to Union Telephone Tuesday morning for information were not returned.
