The Pony Express reride suffered some set backs last Saturday.

Originally scheduled to leave Fort Bridger, the Uinta County crew accepted the mochilla at the county line 5˝ hours later than they were supposed to from the riders coming in from Farson. Some of the horse trailers finally hit Fort Bridger after 7 p.m. The riders arrived later, and the mochilla was changed to a new horse just north of the Fort Bridger Cemetery. The new rider mounted and took off near 8 p.m. Uinta County’s group had another 84 miles to go before turning the mochilla over at the Wyoming-Utah state line. Each rider is required to ride a two-mile distance on the trail.
