MOUNTAIN VIEW – As part of No Child Left Behind requirements, the Wyoming Department of Education in collaboration with the Professional Teaching Standards Board evaluates all school districts in
the state of Wyoming each year to determine the highly qualified status of teachers. Uinta County School District 4 received great news this summer indicating that 100 percent of its core academic classes are taught by highly qualified teachers. Districts that were found to not have 100 percent of their teachers highly qualified teachers have to complete a district highly qualified improvement plan in hopes of staying in compliance with No Child Left Behind.
