EVANSTON ¬– Slated as 77 years of cowboy tradition and “Biggest Little Rodeo in the West,” Evanston Cowboy Days will feature three PRCA sanctioned professional rodeos this weekend.

Rodeos will be held on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

The year’s grand marshall is Denny Ottley, long time businessman and former Evanston mayor.

One of the more popular events is the fish-catch contest where 1,500 rainbow trout are put into a big rubber raft that has about a foot of water in it.

A parade will wind down Front and Main Streets on Monday at 10 a.m.

The celebration will include a mutton Bustin’, bingo, pony riders, horse drawn wagon rides, kids live fish catch, cowboy poets, street dance and much more.
