LYMAN – Lyman Lady Eagles lose in four sets against cross Valley rival Mountain View Lady Buffalos in annual Pink Game last Friday.

Crowds gathered for a good rivalry match against Lyman and Mountain View with a bonus of raising money for breast cancer. The Lady Eagles hosted a pink game to raise awareness for breast cancer. Fundraisers were in forms of raffles, bake sells, and auctions.

“Rivalries can put a lot of pressure on a team, this is not an excuse we could have played better, I am hoping it was an off night,” said head coach Brecia Hanson about the loss to Mountain View.

The match went into four sets with scores of 11-25, 25-22, 10-25, 17-25.

During the match against Mountain View, Mishawn Bluemel had nine kills and three blocks. “Mishawn was our bright spot in the game,” said Coach Hanson. “We will be focusing on what we can do better defensively this week in practice.”

Lyman hosted the Kemmerer Rangers Thursday, Sept. 12, and traveled to Rawlins yesterday and today for the Rawlins Invite. Results were unavailable at press time.

Lyman’s next game will be in Pinedale at 6 p.m. on Sept. 19.
