MOUNTIAN VIEW—In a hard fought first round playoff game, the Mountain View Buffalos out-played the visiting Newcastle Dogies 20-12 last Friday, Nov. 1.

“Obviously, this was a very big win for us,” head coach Brent Walk said. “Our kids showed a ton of character and played extremely hard on both sides of the ball. Although we didn't capitalize on a few scoring opportunities, I still feel our offensive performance was pretty solid.”

Out of half time, Houskeeper rushed the ball into the end zone widening the score gap 14-6.

The Newcastle Dogies closed the gap during the fourth quarter 14-12, but Mountain View quickly recovered with another rush play from Houskeeper to end the game 20-12.
