LYMAN — Terry Allen Horrocks, 69, died at his home in Lyman with his family by his side on Wednesday, Dec.11.
He was born on Nov. 1, 1944, in Heber City, Utah, the son of Sheldon Glen and Hellen Marie (Archaballed) Horrocks. He married Margie Lou Horrocks on
July 8, 1963, in Heber City, Utah.
He worked at FMC for numerous years as a hoist man. Terry loved to play his guitar, go hunting, go fishing and enjoyed big guns. He enjoyed spending time at his cabin and spending time with his family. He loved and enjoyed each and every one of them. He enjoyed working with guns. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge, and served his country in the U.S. Marines Corp. Terry enjoyed his friends, and he enjoyed making everyone smile.
He is survived by his spouse, Margie Horrocks, Lyman; daughters: Terrie (Tom) Stevens, Kemmerer; and Ronda (Matt) Piercy, Mountain View; and son, Randy (Tresa) Horrocks, Lyman. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren, brothers: Glen Horrocks and Jimmy Horrocks; and a sister, Audry Marcellin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ulita Gines;and a great-granddaughter, Mindy Johnson.
Visitation will be held at the Lyman L.D.S. Church on Monday, Dec. 16, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Funeral services will be Monday, Dec. 16, at 11 a.m. at the Lyman L.D.S. Chapel.
Interment, with military honors, will be conducted at the Lyman Cemetery.
