MVHS students lend voices to state choir

MOUNTAIN VIEW Five high school choir students from Mountain View were selected to participate in the 2014 Wyoming All-State Choir.

They were selected through a live audition. in early November. To audition, they had to prepare and record one high scale, one low scale, a vocalization, two excerpts from actual all-state pieces and a sight-reading selection.

The entire audition is a cappella so it is very difficult, according to Lori Limoges, MVHS teacher.

The all-state music ensembles combine students from all classes, 4A through 1A.

The Mountain View students will travel to Laramie in January for two days for rehearsals and the concert
