MOUNTAIN VIEW — Board members of the Bridger Valley Interdenominational Food Pantry in Mountain View presented Dorothy Johnson with a gift in recognition of the 23 years she served the needy in Bridger Valley with her services to the Food Pantry.

Johnson recently moved to Sheridan to be closer to her family and had to give up her job on the board of the Food Pantry.

Johnson took care of the Pantry’s bank account and waited on clients who called for food assistance. She also shopped for items needed for the supplies and helped manage the food inventory at the Pantry. She offered these services through her affiliation with the Presbyterian Church in Mountain View, and she always served with a smile and often with the help of her husband, Farren. He would often be at the Pantry working alongside Dorothy, putting food away and helping out where he could.
