EVANSTON David Gregory Weber, died April 26, in the Huntsman Cancer Institute following a courageous battle with Leukemia.
He was born on June 27, 1955, in Marietta, Ohio, to Delbert and Berneda (May) Weber.
Dave attended Ohio University and graduated with a degree in electrical engineering.
He worked for Schlumberger for 28 years before retiring.
He married Lavonda Brennon Short on June 23, 2007, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
David was an active member of the Uinta Bible Baptist Church. He enjoyed being outdoors and raising and harvesting hay. He was a pilot and loved to fly. More than anything else, he loved his family and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lavonda; son: John Weber; and daughter, Brenda (Kristopher) Simons, all of Evanston; three grandchildren; two brothers: Charles (Brenda) Weber, of Forest, Va.; and William Bill (Connie) Weber, anton, Ohio; and his parents, Delbert and Berneda Weber, Marietta, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet.
Funeral service will be on 11 a.m. Thursday, May 1, at the Uinta Bible Baptist Church.
Interment will be in the Evanston Cemetery under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home.
