LYMAN ó An accident on I-80 westbound at mile marker 26, approximately eight miles west of the Fort Bridger exit, between two semi trucks resulted in a Jaws of Life extraction and a Life Flight.

It appeared upon arrival, as if one semi was changing lanes and clipped the following semi with the right rear portion of the trailer. That led to the second semi getting hit on the left front portion of the cab causing the truck to head off of the interstate into the muddy and icy roadside.

The resulting collision with the roadside must have been with so much force the cab itself was separated from the frame of the truck leaving the engine and frame on the front of the trailer and the cab towards the rear of the trailer. The aftermath left a debris field and a path cut into the ground from the second semi.

Troopers on site said they really didnít now what had happened as they had just arrived. No other information was available at press time.
