CHANGE OF SCHEDULE FOR MEETING

The Board of Trustees of Uinta County School District No. 6 will hold the regular board meeting on Tuesday September 20, 2022 at 7 p.m. in the administration building at 126 North Franklin Street. The work session will begin at 6pm. This schedule change is due to the WSBA Annual Conference.

MOUNTAIN VIEW HIGH SCHOOL TRACK REPLACEMENT PROJECT

Notice is hereby given that the UINTA COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 4 has accepted as completed according to the plans, specifications, and rules governing the same work performed under that certain Contract between the School District No. 4 and Post Construction 1762 W 1350 S, Ogden, UT. 84401, the Contractor on the Mountain View High School Track Replacement Project for Site Preparation and Asphalt placement. The Contractor is entitled to final settlement for work under this Contract and the School District will make final payment to the Contractor herein mentioned for the full amount due on the forty-first day after first publication of this notice, being first published on August 26, 2022, and final payment to be made on October 6, 2022.  Any claims should be submitted to the School District. Claims not filed with the School District, prior to the forty-first day after the first date of this publication, the same shall be waived.

The August16, 2022 Mountain View Town Council meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Mayor Bryan Ayres. Those present were, council members, Tori Carter, Gina Tims and Jamy Ferrin, Deputy Clerk, Amanda Fraughton, Jake Porter with Public Works, Interim Chief of Police, Allen Van Wagoner and Police Officer Allister Bunch, and Attorney, Mark Harris.

Motion by  Jamy Ferrin, second by Tori Carter to approve the agenda; motion carried.

Motion by Gina Tims, second by Jenny Harvey to approve the August 2, 2022 meeting minutes; motion carried.

Bryan Ayres recused himself.

Motion by Jamy Ferrin, second by Tori Carter at 7:02 pm to ENTER INTO PUBLIC HEARING TO HEAR PUBLIC COMMENTS ON THE ANNEXATION SUBMITTED BY AYRES AND BAKER POLE AND POST, INC.; motion carried.
