PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE

The USDA Uinta County Local Work Group will meet March 19, 2020 at 7:00 pm at the Uinta County Conservation District Office, 204 East Sage Street, Lyman, Wyoming.  The purpose of the meeting is to determine local work group priorities and provide recommendations on local natural resource priorities and criteria for conservation activities and programs for the 2021 funding year.  The public is invited and encouraged to attend.  Contact Kerri Sabey, 787-3070, ksabey.uccd@gmail.com for more information.

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of Uinta County School District #6, 126 North Franklin, Lyman, Wyoming will receive sealed Bid Proposals on or before 11:30 a.m., Monday, March 16, 2020, to replace the bleachers at the Lyman Intermediate School gym and the small bleachers at the Lyman High School gym. The full scope of work will be included in the bid package.  Work may begin on June 1, 2020 and must be completed by July 17, 2020.

Proposals shall be submitted in accordance with the Contract Drawings, Specifications, and other Contract Documents as prepared by Uinta County School District #6.

A mandatory job walk will be held at the Lyman Intermediate School, 126 North Main on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 11:30 a.m.

Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Certified or Cashier’s Check or Bid Bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount, made payable to the Uinta County School District #6.  If certified or cashier’s check is used in lieu of bid bond, execution of a 100% Performance and 100% Payment Bond must accompany bid.  The Bid Bond or the Cashier’s Check shall be forfeited in the event the successful bidder fails or refuses to enter into the Contract or to furnish the required Performance and Payment Bonds.

The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Faithful Performance Bond and a Materials Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price. 

The school district reserves the right to accept any, or to reject any or all Proposals, or waive any informality in a Proposal.

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Council President, Gina Tims.

The February 4, 2020 Mountain View Town Council meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Council President, Gina Tims. Those present were council members Bryan Ayres and Tori Carter, Clerk, Penny Robbins, Deputy Clerk, Amanda Fraughton, Rick Guild and Billy (Bud) Lawson with Public Works and Chief of Police, Brian Sparks.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

Uinta County School District No. 6 will hold a public meeting on March 10, 2020 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the administration building at 126 North Franklin Street. The purpose of this meeting is to receive public input concerning the four-day week for the 2020-2021 and the 2020-2022 school years.

Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of the Lyman Streets 2020 Project will be received by the Town of Lyman, Wyoming at the office of Town Hall until   4:00 p.m. local time March 12, 2020     and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

Copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be obtained at the office of FORSGREN ASSOCIATES, INC. at the location noted above, upon payment of $   40.00    for each hard set, non-refundable, Electronic downloadable copies are also available at no charge provided the contractor calls and registers on the plan holders list

Each BIDDER will be required to submit, with his proposal, a certified check, or Bid Bond made payable without condition to the Town of Lyman in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the BIDDER's maximum Bid Price as guarantee that such BIDDER will enter into a contract within fifteen (15) days after the date of the OWNER's Notice of Award.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 3:00 p.m. on the  3rd day of March 2020 at 100 East Sage, Town of Lyman, WY Bidders are encouraged to attend and participate.

Preference will be given to resident Wyoming Contractors in the amount of five percent (5%) of the low bid in accordance with Wyoming Statute 16-6-101, et. seq.

Town of Lyman reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part of any bid, to waive any formality in any bid, as its best interest may appear.

Contractors are encouraged to visit the site prior to submitting bids.

Box 1090, Lyman, Wyoming 82937 will receive sealed Bid Proposals on or before 11:30 a.m., Monday, March 16, 2020, to make parking lot repairs, crack seal, seal coat, and striping at Lyman High School, Lyman Intermediate School, Urie Elementary and the District Office . The full scope of work will be included in the bid package.  Work may begin on June 26 and must be completed by July 12, 2020 or work may begin on August 1 and must be completed by August 15, 2020.

Proposals shall be submitted in accordance with the Contract Drawings, Specifications, and other Contract Documents as prepared by Uinta County School District #6.
