The Town of Lyman will be holding a public hearing May 21, 2020 7:00 p.m. Town Hall.  The purpose of the public hearing is to receive input on Ordinance No. 2020-01 AN ORDINANCE CONFORMING DIFFERING SECTIONS OF THE TOWN CODE CONCERNING WHEN A SUBDIVISION AND/OR LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT IS NECESSARY AND THE NEED FOR PUBLIC FRONTAGE TO A LOT, Ordinance No. 2020-02 AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "ANNUAL APPROPRIATION BILL FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2021 and  Ordinance No. 2020-03 AN ORDINANCE ELIMINATING ORDINANCE LANGUAGE REMAINING FROM WHEN THE TOWN COLLECTED THE TOWN CITIZEN'S GARBAGE.

The annual meeting of the Bridger Valley Water Conservancy District will be held Thursday, May 21, 2020 @ 8:00 pm in the Bridger Valley Water Conservancy District Board Room located at 609 West 3rd Street in Mountain View, Wyoming.

Business of the meeting will include:

1) Election of two Directors

  • Sub-District #1, Black’s Fork, for a five year term to succeed the expiring term of Allen Rees
  • Sub-District #1, Black’s Fork, for a one year term to complete the unexpired term of James Eyre

2) Report of the Officers

3) Any other business to normally come before the meeting

Proxies will be accepted but they must be in writing and represent the legal landowner.

TOWN OF MOUNTAIN VIEW

April 7, 2020   7:00 P.M.

The April 7, 2020 Mountain View Town Council meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Mayor, Scott Dellinger. Those present were Clerk, Penny Robbins, Deputy Clerk, Amanda Fraughton, Rick Guild and Billy (Bud) Lawson with Public Works, Chief of Police, Brian Sparks and Officer Alan Kiefer. Council President, Gina Tims, council members, Jacob Porter, Tori Carter and Bryan Ayres were present via conference call. 

Motion by Gina Tims, second by Tori Carter to approve the agenda; motion carried.

Motion by Tori Carter, second by Jacob Porter to approve the March 17, 2020 minutes; motion carried.

Motion by Bryan Ayres, second by Jacob Porter to recess regular meeting for liquor license public hearing to hear public comments at 7:05 p.m.; motion carried.

There being no public comments, motion by Bryan Ayres, second by Tori Carter to reconvene regular meeting at 7:06 p.m.; motion carried.

Motion by Bryan Ayres, second by Gina Tims to approve liquor licenses for Cowboy Bar, Badlands, F&M Liquor, Crazy Ate Café and Pizza Hut; motion carried.

Motion by Jacob Porter, second by Tori Carter approve Conditional Use permit for Debra Smith; motion carried.

DESTRUCTION OF PERMANENT FILES

This notice is submitted to alert all families of children who attended a Lincoln Uinta Child Developement Association developmental disabilities preschool program during the school years 2011//2012 through 2012/2013. If your child received services through one of LUCDA's centers (Alpine Child Development Center, Bridger Valley Child Development Center, LUCDA-Evanston, Kemmerer Child Development Center, Star Valley Child Development Center (Afton or Thayne) during the years listed, those records will be destroyed on or after June 1, 2020. If parents wish to obtain their child's records they may contact the local center where their child attended, or the LUCDA Regional Office at P.O. Box 570, Mountain View, WY 82939, (307) 782-6602 prior to June 1, 2020. Records will be given only to those who can prove guardianship of the child. If you are a friend or relative of a child who attended the program during these years, please assist the program by notifying parents that records are available.

TOWN OF LYMAN WYOMING

Minutes of the Business Meeting held April 16, 2020

 Present online were Mayor Berg, Councilmembers Tansy Shelton, Shane Hooton and Dallas Sill, Public Works Director Jared Crane, Clerk Lisa Bradshaw, Chief Kathy Adams and Attorney Thayne Peterson.

Councilman Sill made a motion to approve the agenda as amended, second by Councilwoman Shelton, motion carried unanimously.

Councilwoman Shelton made a motion to approve the minutes of the April 2, 2020 business meeting and work session, second by Councilman Hooton, motion carried unanimously.

Councilman Sill made a motion to approve the agreement with Lyman FFA Alumni to allow them to lease the Heritage Farm for another year, second by Councilwomen Shelton, motion carried unanimously.

Mayor Berg opened the public hearing for John’s Diamond Club Liquor License.  No public comments.  Mayor Berg closed the public hearing.

Councilman Hooton made a motion to approve the liquor license for John’s Diamond Club, second by Councilwoman Shelton, motion carried unanimously, this will be valid on May 21, 2020.

Councilman Hooton made a motion to approve the reduction of rate on water line break for Eric Quinney, second by Councilwoman Shelton, motion carried unanimously.

Resolution # 2020-11 APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT FOR THE GREEN ACRES ADDITION LOCATED WITHIN THE TOWN OF LYMAN, UINTA COUNTY, WYOMING AND SETTING THE ZONES THEREOF.  Councilwoman Shelton made a motion to approve Resolution # 2020-11, second by Councilman Hooton, motion carried unanimously.

Resolution #2020-12- APPROVING CHANGE OF LOT LINES OF LOT 7 & 8 BLOCK 1 OF THE MAXFIELD ADDITION OF THE TOWN OF LYMAN, UINTA CONTY, WYOMING AND ALLOWING SAID LOT LINE CHANGES TO BE RECORDED AS THE DICK ROLLINS ADDITION OF SAID TOWN.  Councilwoman Shelton made a motion to approve Resolution # 2020-12, second by Councilman Hooton, motion carried unanimously.

Councilman Sill made a motion to approve the Purchase Order in the amount of $14,622.22 for aerators at the sewer lagoons, second by Councilwoman Shelton, motion carried unanimously.
