MOUNTAIN VIEW – Lillian Verna Bell Angwin passed away May 18, 2022, at the age of 93.

Born Jan. 5, 1929, in Evanston, Wyo.; to Joseph Bell and Bessie Louise Isle Bell,

Lil was the second child in a family of six. She had one sister, Virginia Morris O’hara, and four brothers, Howard Lee Bell, Francis Allen Bell, Wayne Bell and Gene Earl Bell.

Lil married her beloved husband, Warren L. Angwin in Randolph, Utah, July 2, 1944.

They were married 52 years prior to his death in 1997.

 To this union were born five children: Sharon Walker (Stanley, dec.), Layton, Utah; Linda Black (David F.), Mountain View, Wyo; John Spencer Angwin, deceased, (Doreen Angwin), Evanston, Wyo.; Judy Coburn (Steve, dec.) Laramie, Wyo.; Ernest Joe Angwin (Deniece Lipelt-Poeppel), Mountain View, Wyo.

An avid outdoorswoman, Lil enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, back-packing and exploring with her family.

Warren and Lillian were snowbirds for many years. They made wonderful friends in Overton, Nev. Full of laughter and fun, Lil was always creating adventures for the Over-ton gang.

As an active community member, Lil served as president of the American Legion Auxiliary for many years and held offices in other organizations.

She was a talented artist. Her hobbies and interests were many, including quilting, crocheting, knitting, painting and cooking.

She cherished moments with her family and loved creating a sanctuary in her backyard.

Lillian is survived by two brothers, Wayne and Gene; four of her five children: Sharon, Linda, Judy and Ernie and 119 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Viewing will be Monday evening, May 23, 6-8 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church in Mountain View.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 24, 11 a.m. at the Mountain View Presbyterian Church.Lunch will be provided.

Interment will be at the Fort Bridger Cemetery.
