This summer I was the given the incredible opportunity to intern for the Bridger Valley Pioneer. I have taken journalism and news writing classes through the University of Wyoming, as my major is Agricultural Communications and Journalism, but nothing compared to the experience I gained over the last few months.
It has been one of the most enjoyable and educative adventures I have ever embarked on, and I credit that to the people that have shared it with me. So thank you! A huge thank you to the Pioneer, for opening their arms to me and giving me the opportunity to be a part of their staff. Thank you to Virginia Giorgis, Pioneer editor, for taking me under her wing and for providing me with more kindness, guidance and advice than I could ever repay her for. Thank you to those of you I have worked with and interviewed over the last few months, for your kindness and willingness to help me out along the way.
Lastly, thank you to everyone who has offered such kind words about my work, it means so much! There is no doubt in my mind when I say, there is no place like Bridger Valley and no community of people like those that reside here.
