RIVERTON — Eight LHS lady wrestlers were part of the 268 girls from 40 Wyoming schools to compete at the 202 Ron Thon in Riverton last week.
The tournament, Jan. 26-27, is the biggest Wyoming wrestling tournament.
The eight wrestlers from Lyman included Emalee Behling, Braxton Burgener, Kelsie Nebeker, Gracelynn Allen, Neveah Major, Eliza Clegg, Payton Hadden and Janessa Kirk.
As a team, the Lady Eagles took 14th and had two team members place. Clegg (28 girls in the bracket), took the championship in the 125 pounds with five pins. Burgener, 105, competing in a division with 16 girls, took sixth place.
