BUFFALO — The LHS golf team finished their fall season last weekend, Sept. 16-17, at the state tournament on the Buffalo Golf Course.

The tournament was hosted by Buffalo High School with 14 teams for the guys and nine teams for the girls. Those at the state tournament were Buffalo, Riverton, Lander, Douglas Evanston, Wheatland, Torrington, Worland, Cody, Lovell, Rawlins, Green River, Powell, Lyman and Pinedale.

The golfers were slated to play 36 holes of medal play in the two-day tournament . That was 18 holes in both days.

For the boys teams Riverton took first place with a two-day score of 638. Evanston was second with a score of 661. There were 73 males on the boys side of the tournament and one golfer from Powell, Eisaiah Woyak, didn’t score.
