BRIDGER VALLEY — “Christmas is such a special time of the year and a time to give back to the Community, we are partners with,” Uinta County Sheriff Doug Matthers said Monday.
“Today, working with the schools in Mountain View and Lyman, we were able to take 13 very special students on a Christmas shopping spree at Shopko. Lights and Sirens sounded the way as Wyoming State Troopers, Lyman and Evanston Police Officers and Uinta County Sheriff's Deputies escorted these kids through Mountain View.”
This is the third year the Uinta County Sheriff's Dept. has invited Mountain View's and Lyman's disabled students to Shop With a Cop, according to Mountain View school officials.
