MV student raised pounds of food and cash for local pantry as a service project

MOUNTAIN VIEW — Weston Spackman was required to complete a service project for one of his eight grade classes in Mountain View.
He chose to make a difference in Bridger Valley by initiating a food drive for the Bridger Valley Assistance Program. Spackman was successful in collecting over 660 pounds of food and $160 cash and delivered these to the food bank in mid-December.
In addition, Dally Lamoreaux, Laney Jensenand Mattie Behunin donated $53
of their service money to Spackman’s project.
The Bridger Valley Food Assistance Program is a non-profit charity program that provides food assistance to Bridger Valley families. The program relies solely on donations and volunteers to feed approximately 100 families per month.
