EVANSTON (7/20/2018) — Lyman resident Tony Gillies has been appointed as the new chair of Evanston Regional Hospital’s board of trustees.
He replaces Van Johnson who served as chair since October 2014.
Gillies has lived in Lyman for 36 years. He works as the business manager for Uinta County School District #6. He and his wife, Carilyn, have five married children and 12 grandchildren. He has served on the hospital’s board since January 2015.
“I appreciate the opportunity to serve on the hospital board. As chair, my desire is to continue to see improvement and growth at Evanston Regional Hospital and to serve our community with quality, compassionate care close to home,” Gillies said. “I have enjoyed getting to know the hospital staff, doctors and other board members over the last few months. It’s exciting to work with a team who is both passionate and committed to achieving excellence in healthcare.”
