And Frosty, a jolly happy soul, stopped over in Bridger Valley Monday at a house south of Fort Bridger, taking a break in his games with the children. According to meteorologist Don Day, Wyoming has experienced a “Whiplash winter” with extreme shifts in temperature and precipitation. Day was also quoted Tuesday say he was amazed at how many people forgot Wyoming was also setting record lows while the state was also enjoying the warmer weather. He projected Wednesday through the weekend this wee would be “colder and unsettled statewide… little more consistently winter now from here on out.” And snow started blanketing the Valley on Wednesday.
