BRIDGER VALLEY — A major snowstorm in the Duchesne created a major power outage for Bridger Valley Electric Sunday night.
Several residents reported problems with the electricity during the night. One Lyman resident said she called BVEA at 3:43 a.m. to report the outage as she uses a CPac at night. She was told the problem was caused “due to a major storm” at Duchene, Utah. Another Lyman resident said, the lights flashed on-and-off several times and then everything went off. On person in Fort Bridger said her clock stopped at eight minutes to three.
According to several post on the BVEA Facebook page the problem was on-going into the morning Monday.
