LYMAN — Barry Scott Slagowski, 71, passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 1, 2022.

He was born Nov. 3, 1950 in Green River, Wyoming, to Maurice Slagowski and Mary Chamberlain.

On March 14, 1973, Barry joined the United States Air Force, which took him to many places, but most importantly took him to England. On Nov. 10, 1973, he married his love Margaret Eileen Livermore in Enfield, England, and spent 48 wonderful years together.

In 1982, after serving nine years in the USAF, they moved to Lyman, Wyoming, and with his wife and sons they built their homestead. They made the Valley their permanent home where they became part of the community and enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful country life style.

He loved spending time with Miggs, playing the guitar, fly fishing, hunting, visiting with family and camping with friends.

Barry is survived by his sons, Scott E. Slagowski and wife Kerry of Comfort, Texas; Ian Curtis Slagowski of Beaverton, Oregon; brother Timothy Slagowski and wife Leanna of Palm Bay, Florida; along with many other family members and friends, too many to list. He loved them all dearly.

Barry now joins his wife, Margaret, as they have entered eternal rest. There will not be a public memorial service, instead, the immediate family will gather to celebrate his memory and life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate instead to the charity of your choosing.
