LYMAN — Belinda Diane Arnold Reiten, “Gammy”, passed away Nov.15, 2022, at the University of Utah.

Belinda was born on June 8, 1951 in La Mesa, Calif.; to Gene Arnold and Mary Agnes Lewis Arnold. She grew up in Harbison Canyon, and in 1969 she graduated from El Capitan High School in Lakeside, Calif. She started working as an accounting clerk in 1970.

She met the love of her life, Richard Reiten, and they married on April 16, 1971, in San Diego, Calif. Three years later they started a family: Matt, Becky and Jenny. In 1982, they moved from Redding, Caif.; to Bridger Valley where they raised their three children.

In 2004, Belinda moved back to Redding for the nice weather and to be with her daughters and grandchildren. She retired in 2007 and lived independently, then moved back to Bridger Valley in 2021 to be with her son.

She loved being with family and friends, gardening, yard selling, thrift stores and calling a spade a spade.

She is survived by her loving children: son, Matt (Jamie) Reiten of Lyman; daughters: Rebecca (Charles) Hoffman of Belgrade, Montana; and Jennifer Reiten of Cottonwood, Caif.; sister, Connie (Polo) Vega of Peoria, Ariz.; grandchildren: Kalob, Kylia, Jaeden, Addison, Logan, Emma; two great-grandchildren and several nieces.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her parents and her brother, Blaine.

She will be missed by all her babies, family and friends.

A celebration of life and funeral will be conducted at a later date at the Alpine Cemetery in Alpine, California.
