EVANSTON — Bryant Gene Collard, 66, of Evanston, Wyoming, unexpectedly passed away June 22, 2022.

Bryant was born April 11, 1956, in Nephi, Utah. He was the second son of Emory Gene and Shirley Jean Collard. At a young age, he moved to the Provo/Orem, Utah area. Bryant lived life to the fullest during his youth. Many have heard his stories or have been a part of these adventures.

Bryant was an extremely hard worker. He worked as an iron-worker, in construction, and finally retiring from the wind farm in June 2021. He was never late to anything. His work ethic was unmatchable. It was mind-boggling how he could fix anything and make it work using electrical tape, baling twine, rope or duct tape. He was amazing and incredibly smart.

Bryant was a man of honor and integrity. Always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Bryant was a friend to all. He never met a stranger, and all that knew him loved him. He was the life of the party. You knew he was never far because of his loud voice and laughter that could carry on-and-on. His stories will carry on through his legacy. A few of Bryant’s life mottos were “I am who I yam” and “You can’t screw up unless you’re doing something.”

Bryant was married to the love of his life, Kalene, just shy of 38 years. His pride and joy were his children: Kolby (Tawnya), Tanisha (Jordi) and Tazmyn (Josh) and his 10 grandchildren: Brynley, Kit, Mason, Quintin, Skyla, Prazlyn, Declan, Dylan, Henzli and Zander. These 10, plus his two faithful companions, Dick and Harry, could do no wrong in his eyes.

Bryant was preceded in death by his loving parents Emory and Shirley Collard; father in-law, Karl Tschinderle; and siblings: Christine Lewis, Julie Collard and Scott Collard.

As we pick up where he left off haying, we will remember, “A job done right is a job done the first time.”
