EVANSTON – Craig C. Porter, 72, passed away Saturday July 23, 2022, in Ogden, Utah; following a brief illness.

He was a resident of Lyman, Wyo.; for 48 years and a former resident of Salt Lake City Utah.

Craig was born Aug. 2 1949, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Charles F. and Phyllis (Watkins) Porter. He attended school at Kearns High School. Craig joined the U.S. Army in 1968, then married the love of his life, Bonnie K (Broadhead) Porter, in 1969 in Heber City, Utah.

Craig enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, hunting, fishing, football, baseball and just taking a drive to the mountains.

He is survived by his son, Craig C Porter (Jennifer) of Rock Springs, Wyo.; daughter, Jeannette K. Beck (Brad) of Cheyenne, Wyo.; Beverly (Rob) Mitchell of Cedar City, Utah; Bette Porter (Bob) Sutherland of Midvale, Utah; Cheri (Danny) Jones of Murray, Utah; grandchildren include: Malarie (Isaac), Chase (Kim), Ashley (Connor), Cameron, Liam, Amber (Jeremy), Dustin, Calvin, Weston (John) and Kasie (Brandon); 12 great-grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie; his parents and brothers, Thomas D. and Donald B. Porter.
