MOUNTAIN VIEW, Wyo. — Earl M Jensen, 79, passed away July 30, 2023, in Vernal, Utah; after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born May 12, 1944, in Salina, Utah; to George Rudolph Jensen and Francis Eliza Mills.
He married Christine Jones July 1, 1966. Together they had four children: Suzette, Brenda, Davey and Tracy. They divorced in September 1993.
Earl lived in Mountain View, Wyoming; for the past 40 years and spent most of his life working in the logging industry. He loved to fish, would travel anywhere to see his family, and loved taking pictures of anything and everything. He spent his retirement camp hosting in various parts of the country making new friends over the years.
Earl never met a stranger; he found a connection to everyone he met. Family was the most important thing to him. He was a kind, giving man who forgave often and gave freely of whatever he had.
He was preceded in death by his son, Tracy; parents: George and Francis; brothers: Ronald, Henry, LaMont and Rae; sisters: Ina, Inas, Vada Fryer, Bessie McKenna, Uzona Lynch and Zada Wilcox.
He is survived by his daughters: Suzette (Tom) Thomas, Brenda Dellinger, Davey Jensen, Aimee (Joe) White; eight grandchildren: Christopher (Chelsee) Dellinger, Sapphire Dellinger, Raquel Hadley, Tyer (Joey) Jensen, Matthew Barrow, Tracy (Taylor) Jensen; three great-grandchildren Hidey, Saylor, and Montana; brothers: Floyd and Ivan; and sister, Dolly Bardsley; and numerous nephews and nieces he loved dearly.
Earl’s family would like to thank Canyon Home Care & Hospice for their wonderful care and help during his illness.
A memorial service will be held at the Bridger Valley Senior Center in Mountain View, Wyoming; on Aug. 12, 2023, at 11:30 am.
