EVANSTON — Jeneil Blonquist Fairbourn completed her earthly journey on May 28, 2022At the age of 87. She was surrounded by her family, whoM she centered her life around.

Born on July 23, 1934, the first child of Howard and Gwennola Blonquist. She was delivered on their family kitchen table by Dr. French. She enjoyed a simple, wonderful childhood that taught her to work, play and serve others.

The education she received at North Summit, then Weber College steered her to a career as a secretary. She had exceptional skills in typing and shorthand. She worked at Mountain Fuel, Sperry Univac, then secretary for North Summit High School. She later went into banking at First National Bank, Walker Bank, First Interstate Bank and Wells Fargo from where she retired. She was married to William Neil Muir in Aug. 1956. They had one child born to them – Julie Ann on May 7, 1960. They later divorced.

Jeneil’s married Allen Fairbourn in February 1984. She then moved to Mountain View Wyo., where they built the “Ranch.” She had many adventures and friendships while she lived there. When she turned 80, she decided ranch life was too much for her, so she moved to Coalville, Utah, fulltime in 2015.

She moved into an Assisted Living facility, Spring Gardens in Heber City, Utah, after a bad fall in September 2020. She made many friends during her stay there. Her “special angel” nurses and aides loved her and cared for her with so much compassion. Jeneil loved being a member of the LDS church. She served in many callings and was a very devoted daughter to her Heavenly Father.

Jeneil’s parting words to her grandchildren: “I Love my grandchildren and great-grandchildren with a profound, unshakable love. I am always concerned for their welfare and happiness with every fiber of my being. I will always walk beside each of you with unconditional love. Be Happy, Be Kind, and love each other with all your Hearts! You are my everything.”

Jeneil is survived by her only daughter Julie (Steve) Robinson; four grandchildren: Vance Muir Robinson, Crystal Ann Robinson, Amanda Sue (Rocky) Pace, Drew Boyd (Kensi) Robinson; nine great-grandkids: Jaxon, Kylee, Ryker, Tayton, Hailey, Lexi, Brooks, Rylee and Tyce; one brother, Don (Janet) Blonquist; and one sister: Ranae (Roger) Crittenden.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Howard and Gwen Blonquist; and two brothers, Joseph and Alfred Blonquist.

Services were held at noon at the Coalville Utah Stake Center Tuesday, June 7, 2022, Viewing was from 10 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the service. Interment was at Coalville City Cemetery.
