MCKINNON, Wyo. — Joe Boyd Tatom, 83, of McKinnon, Wyoming, passed away on Dec. 2, 2020, of natural causes.
Joe is survived by his wife, Karen; daughter, Jean Marie Tatom Lee; sons: Billy John Tatom and William Boyd Tatom; sisters: Billie Ruth Tatom Ford and Edith Wilma Tatom Osterhues; and several grandkids and great-grandkids.
He also leaves behind step-sons: Michael DeWayne Seavers, John Earl Henry and Troy Allen Tatom; and his long-time best friend, Gale B. Lamb.
He leaves behind a legacy of trapping, hunting with hounds and fishing as he was the total mountain man – born a century too late.
––He will be missed by all, but his hunting stories will be passed for generations to come.
