LYMAN — Michael was born Aug. 2, 1971, in Rock Springs, Wyoming; to Leslie J. and Janeen Walker Anson.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints He was raised in
Lyman and attended schools there. He was the one who always wanted to go and do. There was lots of fun and laughter whenever he was around. While he loved teasing and pranking his brothers, he was the first one to stick up for them when necessary, especially Tom.
He loved spending time outdoors camping, fishing, riding horses or ATV’s and golfing. His favorite spot was up on the Greys River at Murphy Lake.
At the time of his death he was a senior construction manager for Kahuna Ventures of Westminster, Colo.
He married Stephanie Lamoreaux in 1995. Michael Spenser Anson was born to this union. They were later divorced.
He married Monika Vranish in 2003. She had two daughters, Alyssa and Tayler. Jacob Milo Anson was born to this union. They were later divorced. Michael later adopted Alyssa.
Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents: Art and Blanche Anson and Edward and Pearl Walker; his father, Leslie J Anson; and many aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his mother, Janeen Anson, Lyman; children: Spenser Anson, Lyman; Alyssa Vranish and Tayler Evans, Riverside Calif.; Jacob Anson, Ivans, Utah; brothers: Thomas Anson, Evanston; Brian Anson, Lyman; two nieces, three nephews and two great-nieces. He will be deeply missed by those who loved him as well as many whose life he impacted during his short life here on earth.
Services will be held April 19, 2022, at the Heritage Barn in Lyman.
