ROBERTSON — Troy Lyman, 66, died peacefully Sunday, March 18, at the University of Utah Hospital with his family by his side.

He was a wonderful father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Troy was born June 26, 1951, to Lowell Lyman and Gloria Warnes. The love of his life is Betty Jo Lyman. He served during the Vietnam War in the Army.

He was a proud member of the NRA.

Troy loved ranching, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He enjoyed country music, dancing, training dogs and most of all being in the mountains in his back yard.

He was very proud of living in Wyoming.

“It ain’t easy being a cowboy, but it ain’t a bad life if a man don’t weaken,” Troy always said.

Dad loved each and every one of his friends and there are many.

Troy is survived by his children: Sterling (Char) Lyman, Brett (Emily) Lyman, Andrea (Sara) Osterhout, Brittani (Jeff) Lots, Amber (Brandon) Condos, Jesse (Kaylee) Lyman, 20 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; his ex-wife, Betty Jo Lyman; sisters: Terry, Penny, Heidi and Sherie; brother, Dwaine; and his mother, Gloria Warnes.
