LYMAN — Ronald Dean Wilson was born on Nov. 12, 1956, in Cheyenne, Wyo., as the baby of six kids of Leonard Francis and Nita Belle (Coe).

In November 1973, he moved to Lyman and there met the love of his life, Rebecca Milam. They married Nov. 12, 1976, and raised their six kids: Austin(d:2005), Dominick (Kristie), GaBrielle (Jeff) Harding, Jothan, Jasmine (Jeremy) Siddoway and AraBella (Darek) Biebinger.

After raising the kids, Ron got to enjoy the pure love of his 10 grandkids: Sebastyan, Tavish, AnnaLeese, BraKell, Konnick, Ronnie, Aspen, Brandstin(d:2020), Zevia and Jeremy, for the reminder of his life and his love for them will forever be with them.

Ron was a devoted Christian and a member of Bridger Valley Baptist Church for 40 years where he taught Sunday school and R.A’s, as well as helping with youth group trips where the youth group had lot of fun with Ron. He was a mine maintenance supervisor for Allied (TaTa) Chemical for 42 years and a volunteer fire fighter for the town of Lyman for 27 years.

Ron was proceeded in death by both of his parents, his brother, Eddie; his sister, Diana (Aunt Di to most who knew her); his son, Austin; his grandson, Brandstin; and a nephew, Jeremy.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 47 years, Rebecca; five kids, nine grandkids, his brother, Leonard(L.G. to most) (Ellen); his sister, Jeani; as well as many nieces and nephews that all have a place in their hearts reserved for Uncle Ronnie and the memories he helped create with them.

He lost his life to the horrible disease of cancer two days shy of his 67th birthday and 47th anniversary on Nov. 10, 2023.

He will be missed by many, as he was loved by so many of us.

He will be buried in a private ceremony at Lyman cemetery prior to his funeral, which will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 11:30 a.m. at Bridger Valley Baptist Church in Lyman, Wyoming.
